What is the Canadian Export Reporting System ( CERS) or B13?
The Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) is a mandatory declaration required by Customs & Statistics Canada for all exports with a value greater than $2000 CAD.
You need to make an export declaration if your goods have a
value of more than $2000 CAD (Except if the merchandise is destined for the USA, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands)
If the goods are prohibited, controlled,
Exporters who do not declare exports or who declare with errors are subject to penalties from Canada Customs.
